Betty Jean (Huddleson) Anderson

Betty Jean Anderson, age 83 of Toronto, OH passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Weirton Medical Center.

She was born September 10, 1932 in Tionesta, PA the daughter of the late Theodore Huntin and Alta Marie (Tucker) Huddleson.

Betty was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Steubenville, OH and was retired as a cook at the Knoxville Elementary School, Knoxville, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allison A. “Bud” Anderson in 1985 whom she married December 31, 1952; brothers, Richard “Dick” and Francis “Tuff” Huddleson;  sisters, Shirley Tucker and Brenda Pierce.

Betty is survived by a son, Judson (Mary) Anderson of New Iberia, LA; daughter, Judy (Wayne ) Coil of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Allison (Nathen) Sellers of Toronto, OH and Brian (Jessica) Coil of Templeton, PA; great-grandchildren, Zane, Molly, Hazel, Clyde and Agnes Coil and Lila and Colm Sellers; brother, Larry (Kathy) Huddleson of Rochester, NY; sister, Nancy (Robert) Nearing of Hampstead, NC.

Visitation hours for Betty will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, June 16th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration service of Betty’s life will be held at 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home with the Reverend Jason Elliott officiating.
