Elinor “Ellie” Pytash Parker, age 65 of Toronto, OH passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her home.
She was born January 28, 1950 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of the late Frank and Delores Virginia Martin Pytash.
Ellie was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, Pleasant Hill, Steubenville where she had been active for many years; was a former Edison Local School Board member; was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson Union High School; showed her horses at different events and loved animals of all kinds.
She had been employed at the Ohio Bell Telephone Company; had formerly been the manager and co-owner of the Knoxville Carryout and had been part owner and bookkeeper for Pytash Tractor Sales.
Ellie is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. Parker whom she married May 22, 1971; son, Kenneth Matthew “Matt” Parker of Tridelphia, WV; brothers, Ron (Linda) Pytash of Toronto, OH, Don (Deborah) Pytash of Steubenville, OH and Tom (Sue) Pytash of Toronto, OH; sisters, Pat Pytash of Toronto, OH and Cheri (Ralph)Carter of Toronto, OH.
A graveside service celebrating the life of Elle will be held September 3rd at the New Cumberland Cemetery, 512 Rolling Acres Road, New Cumberland, WV with the Reverend Jeff Proya officiating. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
Ellie’s arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.
