Eugene "Skip" Edward Early

Eugene E. “Skip” Early, age 73 of Toronto passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, OH.

He was born July 1, 1942 in Chattanooga, TN the son of the late James Edward  Early and Muriel Ferguson.

Skip was retired after 20 years from the Toronto School System as a custodian and served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacqueline L. (Young) Early on 2006 whom he married December 18, 1976; son, Bobby Bostic in 2006 and daughter, Deborah Koontz in 2014; sisters, Linda Turner and Pat Bledsoe

Skip is survived by his son, Ray Thomas Owens and companion Leslie Norris of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Arthur L. “J.R.” (Becki) Fowler of Irondale, OH, Tyler-Vai Koontz of Tiltonsville, OH, Cassandra Rowley of Nolensville, TN, Bradley Bostic of Richmond, OH and Samantha Rae Owens of Toronto, OH; great-grandchildren, Noah Fowler, Jamie June Rowley and Tommy Rowley; his companion, Bridgett Simpson of Toronto, OH and son-in-law, Tim Koontz of Toronto, OH.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, August 10th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto followed by a memorial service at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Chaplain Dana Campbell officiating. Veterans honors will be given by the Toronto American Legion Chaplain at the funeral home following the memorial service.

There will be an interment at the convenience of the family at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery at a later date.
