Joanne (Pillar) Suffoletta

Joanne Suffoletta age 75 of Toronto, OH passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born October 8, 1940 in Uniontown, PA the daughter of the late John and Ann (Petrovic) Pillar.

Joanne was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Toronto, OH and the Catholic Women’s Association of the church.

She was a registered nurse having been employed at the Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville, OH and the Brownsville Hospital, Brownsville, PA.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Patsy Suffoletta who passed away August 24, 2014 and whom she married October 8, 1966 and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a son, Robert (Tammie) Suffoletta, Jr. of Toronto, OH; daughter, Margaret (Gale) Marsh of Galena, OH; grandchildren, Connor, Brennan, Ty Suffoletta and Hannah Marsh; brothers, Michael (Nancy) Pillar of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert (Cindy) Pillar of Stow, OH.

There will be a private family visitation at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto, OH. A private Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Toronto, OH with Celebrant the Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Entombment will follow at the Union Cemetery, Steubenville, OH.
