John J. Zamborsky, Jr.

JOHN J. ZAMBORSKY, JR. age 83 of Independence, OH and formerly Toronto, OH, passed away July 15, 2016. Beloved husband of Yolanda “Yoli” (Bonifine) of whom he married on Sept. 1, 1956; loving father of Chris and Gregg; dear brother of Rita (John) Batcho and the late Pauline (Dr. Richard deceased) Stanco; son of the late Mary ( Choma) and John J. Sr.; uncle, cousin and friend to many. U.S. Navy Veteran and retired electrical engineer from Republic Steel. Friends may call at the VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD. (RT. 21, SO. OF ROCKSIDE) TUESDAY, JULY 19 FROM 4-8 P.M. ADDITIONAL VISITATION WILL BE HELD AT THE CLARKE FUNERAL HOME, 302 MAIN ST., TORONTO, OH WEDNESDAY, JULY 20 FROM 5-8 P.M. A Vigil service will be held at 6 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 21st at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1225 N. River Ave, Toronto with celebrant the Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery with full military honors by the Toronto American Legion Honor Guard  John was a member of Cleveland Bratislava and  the Knights of Columbus.
