Kenneth Clair Swiger

Kenneth Clair Swiger, age 70 of Steubenville, OH passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home surrounded by his loving family June 12, 2017.

He was born March 17, 1947 in Mingo Jct., OH the son of the late Kenneth F. and Betty Wells Swiger.

Kenneth was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson Union High School; served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972 during the Vietnam War era; and was retired from the Weirton Steel Company. He loved drag racing and working on cars.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tamara Sue Swiger; sister, Lucy Rex and brothers, Bobby and Larry Swiger.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Marie Pipo and husband Eric of Weirton, WV; his pride and joy, grandchildren, Elizabeth Sue Swiger and Thomas Kenneth Wilson; sister, Deborah L. King of Toronto, OH; brother, Ernest D. Swiger of Toronto, OH and his dogs, Daisy and Kitty.

 Kenneth’s arrangements will be private and are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto, OH.
