Mary Amelia Morrow

 Mary Amelia Morrow, age 87 of Weirton, WV, a former Toronto resident, passed away surrounded by her family August 23, 2015 at the Weirton Geriatric Center of Weirton, WV.

She was born January 29, 1928 in Rhodesdale, OH the daughter of the late Andrew Snopka and Bessie (Cibulka) Cerny Snopka.

Mary was a member of the Toronto First United Methodist Church; she had been employed at Harriett’s Beauty Shop and the Hedgies Beauty Shop both of Toronto. She also had been employed as a ward helper at the Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Holmes; brothers, Andrew Snopka, James Cerny, Frank Cerny; three infant siblings and former husband, Eugene Gilmore Morrow.

Mary is survived by her son, Eugene Keith Morrow and wife Henriette of Dunnellon, FL; daughter, Gail Lynn Morrow of Weirton, WV; grandsons, Christopher Kolosky, Brad Michael Morrow, Bryan Wilkinson; granddaughters, Lindsay Sue Vani and Lisa Taebel; great grandsons, Blayne Wilkinson and Riley Taebel.

Visitation hours will be held for Mary Wednesday, August 26th from 12 noon to 1 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto. A celebration service of Mary’s life will follow at 1 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating. Interment will follow at the Northern Cemetery, Smithfield, OH.
