Rocco Crispino, Jr. of Toronto, OH passed away suddenly Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home.
He was born February 18, 1934 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Rocco Crispino, Sr. and Agnes (Gmys) Crispino.
Rocco was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church of Steubenville (Pleasant Hill), OH and had served his country in the U.S. Army.
He retired after 38 years of employment from the Weirton Steel Company .
Rocco loved to golf, rabbit hunt and do woodcrafts
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the love of his life, Lois Byers Crispino who passed away July 23, 2017 whom he married January 9, 1988 and an infant sister, Edna Mae Crispino.
Rocco is survived by his son, David (Theresa) Crispino of North Carolina; daughter, Veronica Crispino Irvin; step-daughters, Cheryl Carter of Steubenville, OH and Debra (James) Acors of Virginia; step-son, Jack (Wendy) Byers of Richmond, OH; sisters, Anna Mary (Bill) Ashbrook of Steubenville, OH and Delores (Donald) Moore of Wintersville, OH; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours for Rocco will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, August 3rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, OH.
A celebration service of Rocco’s life will be held 11 A.M. Friday, August 4th at the funeral home with
the Reverend Jeff Proya officiating. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery with military honors by the Toronto American Legion.
