Rosemary Martha (Perun) Gooch

Rosemary Martha Gooch, age 86 ,of Toronto, OH went to be with the Lord  Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, WV.

She was born February 27, 1931 in Toronto, Ohio.

Rosemary was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Toronto, Oh and the Catholic Women’s Club of the church. She was a 1948 graduate of Toronto High School; was a member of the Toronto Sunrise Senior Citizens, TOPS and loved to bowl,  play cards and walk.

She retired after 42 years of service as secretary for the former Hancock Manufacturing Company of Toronto, OH.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Edward P. Perun and Anna T. Perun; sisters, Anna and Theresa Perun, Rita Zdinak, Geraldine Ann Perun and an infant sister Mary Perun; brothers, Stephon, Paul, Edward “Beanie” and Anthony Perun.

She is survived by her sons, John (Nancy) Gooch and Keith ( Mary) Gooch and daughter, Michelle “Mickey” (Shaun) Libetti all of Toronto, OH; grandchildren, Dr. Christopher (Jennifer) Gooch of Bridgeport, OH, Cory (companion Kendra) Gooch of Toronto, OH, Jacob (Melissa) Hudson of Toronto, OH, Steven (Greg) Hudson of Long Beach, CA, Matthew (fiancé Jennifer )Gooch of Toronto, OH and Kayla (fiancé Paul) Gooch of Midland, PA. Eight great-grandchildren survive.

Visitation hours for Rosemary will be held 3-5 and 7-9 Friday, September 29th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, OH. Additional visitation will be held from 9:15 to 10 A.M. Saturday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1225 N. River Avenue, Toronto, OH.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Saturday, September 30th at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with celebrant the Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Rosemary may be made to the Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943.
