Earl Hanife Trikones, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend age 91 of Steubenville (Pleasant Hill) passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Wyngate Senior Living Community, Weirton, WV.
He was born May 5, 1932 in Steubenville the son of the late James and Edith “Pizzoferrato” Trikones and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou “Durbin” Trikones January 31, 2023 whom he married August 28, 1954, daughter, Rebecca Jean Trikones, brothers, Jim Trikones and Matt Trikones, and son-in-law, Ken Pinnell.
Earl belonged to the Gospel Hall Assembly and is praising his Savior the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven.
He was a 1950 graduate of Steubenville High School and had attended Kent State University, the College of Steubenville and Franciscan University.
Earl was retired as an instructor in the Engineering department of the Jefferson Community College of Steubenville where he established and taught welding.
Earl is survived by his daughters, Esther Lynn (Michael) Wayt, Judith Marie (David) Wilkins, Deborah Lee (Doug) Miller; grandchildren, Karen Lynn (Craig) Polen, Kimberly Kay (Josiah) Menking, Kenneth Earl (Janis) Pinnell, Ryan Scott (Drew) Wilkins, Sydney Marie Wilkins and Carly Jean Wilkins; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Levi, Laikyn and Braylen, Graham, Reid and Emsley; brother, Brian Trikones and sister-in-law, Virginia Trikones.
Visitation hours for Earl will be held 12 noon to 2 pm Wednesday, April 3rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto followed by a celebration of life service at 2pm Wednesday at the funeral home officiated by Bill Seale and Dale Vitale. A private interment will be held at the Toronto Union Cemetery Thursday April 4th.
