Kenneth W. “Hilltoper” Dobson, age 83 of Toronto passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Valley Hospice Care Center North.
He was born April 10, 1940 in Stratton, the son of the late James Harold Dobson and Beatrice Brown Dobson.
Kenneth was a 1958 graduate of Jefferson Union High School; loved NASCAR and Chevrolets; He retired from Roger’s Trucking and had been a partner of Hilltop Motors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Conrad and John; sister Nadine and infant sister Linda and the mother of his children, Judith Fay Dobson and great-grandson, Ethan Mundie.
Kenneth survivors include: Son, Kenneth (Roberta Cross) Dobson; daughters, Susan (James) Keenan, Wendy (Steve) Westlake, Cathy (Chet Castilow) Moro, and Leslie (Robert) Eroshevich;
Grandchildren: Tonya and Greg Mundie, Kenny and Ashley Dobson, Jim Keenan and Nancy Corder, Corey and Katelyn Keenan, Caleb and Paige Westlake, Evan Westlake, Tanner and Savannah Westlake, Carly and Gage Strickler, Jonah Moro and fiancé Emily Ferrell, Sydney Eroshevich, Lucia and Jake Adams, Seth Eroshevich
Great-grandchildren: Tristan, Dierks, Melody Dobson; Marisa, Mya, Makayla, Garrett, Everett, Nolan Keenan; Maci Westlake, Liam, Evaley, Harlow, Grayson DeGarmo; sister, Peggy Rose; son-in-law, John Moro; friends, Justin, Ken & Sharon Hayes and Joyce Hall.
There will be a memorial service held for Kenneth at the convenience of the family.
