Sharran Eleanor (Heaton) Wayt

Sharran Eleanor Wayt, a homemaker of Steubenville passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

She was born October1,1941 in Steubenville the daughter of the late Elsworth and Lois “Tootie” (Fell) Heaton.

Sharran loved to collect antiques and go boating and traveling with the love of her life Jim. She was a graduate of Brilliant High School.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Wayt whom she married in May of 1961; daughters, Diane (Jack) Manist and Lynda (Tom) Murray; grandchildren, Joshua and Meghan Manist and Zachary and Trevor Murray; great-grandchildren, Layla and Jacob (Paul) Yost; brother, David Heaton and sister Doris Parkinson.

Sharran’s Family and friends will gather for visitation hours from 4pm to 8pm Monday, March 4th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

A celebration service of Sharran’s life will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 5th at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Minto officiating. Interment will follow at the New Alexandria Cemetery.
