Christine Louise (Scott) Keras

Christine Louise Keras, age 68 of Steubenville, OH passed away suddenly Saturday March 2, 2019.

She was born May 12, 1950 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of the late Robert and Rhea (Hartline) Scott.

Christine was a member of the Empire United Church and TOPS; was a 1969 graduate of Jefferson Union High School and was an avid bowler. She loved her family, grandchildren and her dogs.

She was retired as a caregiver at the Jefferson County School of Bright Promise of Steubenville, OH.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husband, David Keras in 2011 whom she married April 14, 1972; son, Edward John Keras; daughter, Dawn Keras and a sister, Carol Brennan.

Christine is survived by her sons, Michael Paul Keras and Scott Anthony Keras of Steubenville, OH; daughter, Elizabeth “Robin” (Robert, Jr.) Ketchum of Salineville, OH;  grandchildren, Katelyn Keras, Justice Marshall, and Madison, Logan Ketchum and David Michael Keras;  great grandchildren, Abriana and Kaleigha Hall; brothers, Robert Scott of Steubenville, OH, Roger Scott of Toronto (Knoxville), OH, James Scott and Grant Edward Scott both of Steubenville, OH. nephew, Bryant Swearinger and niece Paige Swearinger.

Christine will be missed by her best friend, Kathy who was like a sister to her. Rest in Peace.

Visitation hours for Christine will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH. Following visitation hours a celebration service of Christine’s life will be held at 8 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Crowe officiating.

Interment will be held at the Toronto Union Cemetery at a later date.
