Lucy Virginia Graham, age 89 of Toronto, OH went to be with the Lord suddenly Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.
She was born June 8, 1928 in Toronto, OH the daughter of the late Nicholas and Giovannia (De Falco) Lanave.
Lucy was Catholic by faith; enjoyed gardening, loved animals and loved working at K-Mart in Steubenville, OH where she loved working with the customers and helping them in any way she could and making many friends. She didn’t know a stranger.
Before her employment at K-Mart, Lucy along with her husband Norman and daughter Ginny Lu owned and operated the former GLG gas station in Toronto, OH.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norman E. Graham, Sr. in 2008 whom she married November 15, 1947; son, Norman E. Graham, Jr. in 1975; brother, Silvio Lanave and sister, Tina Finamore.
She is survived by her dear and loving daughter Ginny Lu Graham with whom she lived with and who was the joy of her life; grandson, Brian Matthew (Meredith) Graham and great-grandson, Travis Graham of Valparaiso, FL; niece, Diane (Michael) Pacifico of Canfield, OH; nephews, Eddie Finamore and Gary Finamore both of Youngstown, OH, Michael (Jeannie) Lanave of Wellsville, OH and Rob (Shari) Lanave of Elyria, OH; sister-in-law, Carol Lanave of Wellsville, OH and the countless friends that she had touched with her loving kindness and friendship.
To honor Lucy’s Request there were no visitation hours or services.
Lucy’s entombment took place at the Union Cemetery Mausoleum, Steubenville, OH.
