Mark Richard McClain, age 63 of Toronto, OH passed away suddenly Saturday, May 18, 2019.
He was born August 23, 1955 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late James R. McClain who passed away July 4, 2018.
Mark was a 1973 graduate of Jefferson Union High School; a graduate of the Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Bachelor degree in business and a MBA degree. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.
He was an adjunct professor at Franciscan University of Steubenville from 2004 to 2018 and had received the Regis Stafford Award from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He was also a member of the Alpha Chi Honors Society.
Mark retired from TIMET of Toronto, OH as a quality assurance engineer after 43 ½ years.
Mark is survived by his wife, Janice Lynne (Tarulli) McClain whom he married June 9, 1979; mother, Emma Blanche (Jeans) McClain of Canton, OH; brother, Jeffrey J. (Ann) McClain of Canton, OH; niece, Katherine M. McClain of Morgantown, WV; nephew, James D. McClain of Canton, OH who is Mark’s Godson; niece, Gail (Trevor) Nickerson of Wheeling, WV and nephew Paul Rebres of Toronto, OH; great nephew, Michael (Lindsey) Janzen of San Antonio, TX; great-great niece, Harper Janzen and great-great nephew Cameron Janzen.
Visitation hours for Mark will be held from 2 to 5 P.M. Tuesday, May 21st at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.
A celebration service of Mark’s life will be held at 5 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Reverend C. Robert Meyer officiating.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mark may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.
