Norman Keith Rawson, age 73 of Toronto, OH passed away at his home Saturday, March 30, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 3, 1945 in Toronto, OH the son of the late Kenneth and Opal (Hunter) Rawson.
Norman was a 1963 graduate of Jefferson Union high School and loved to do woodworking.
He was a Vietnam Era veteran having served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was very proud of being a prop man on the C-130 Air Force planes.
Norman had been employed by the Valley Converting Co. of Toronto, OH
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Phillip Rawson.
Norman is survived by his wife, Margaret E. “Peggy” (Hixenbaugh) Rawson whom he married June 26, 1965; son, Eric Keith (April) Rawson Kensington, OH; daughters, Lori Ann (Tom) Skeeles of Stratton, OH and Carrie Jo (Nick Noviski) Rawson of Richmond, OH; grandchildren, Collin, Kylen and Kenna Skeeles, Caleb, Alex and Chesney Rawson and Joey and Kenzie Mastroianni; brother, Walter Rawson of Weirton, WV. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation hours for Norman will be held 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, April 2nd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto.
A celebration service of Norman’s life will be held at 8 P.M. Tuesday, April 2nd at the
funeral home with Pastor Rick Gault officiating.
There will be full military honors at the funeral home by the Toronto American Legion before the service starts at 8 P.M. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions in memory of Norman may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
