PAULA JEAN (HOWE) CHEVALIER

Paula Jean Chevalier, age 74 of Toronto, OH passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Life Line Hospital, Wintersville, OH.

She was born November 5, 1942 in Wellsville, OH the daughter of the late Paul Richard and Julia Thelma (Donofrio) Howe.

Paula was Catholic by faith; a 1960 graduate of Toronto High School; retired from the Toronto post office as a rural mail carrier having served as president of the rural mail carriers for several years and served her country in the Army during the Vietnam War era.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Lou Howe.

Paula is survived by her husband, Lynn J. Chevalier whom she married August 22, 1964; daughter, Beth Chevalier and companion Chris Calhoun of Hammondsville, OH; son, Lawrence M. Chevalier and wife Becky of Ormond Beach, FL; grandchildren, James Lackey and wife Becky of Steubenville, OH, Michael Lackey of Ormond Beach, FL, Rachael L. Baumgard and husband James of Toronto, OH and Joseph O’Brien of Hammondsville, OH; six great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret “Peggy” Monigold of Toronto, OH  and several nieces and nephews.

To honor Paula’s wishes, all her arrangements will be private at the convenience of her family and are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto, OH.
