Alissa J. McTheny, age 39 of Toronto, OH passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016.

She was born April 29, 1977 in Steubenville, OH the daughter of  mother Sayla Watson of Mingo Jct., OH, father Steven (Christy) Looney of Mingo Jct., OH and step-father  Jake Robinson

Alissa was a 1995 graduate of Toronto High School and was a self-employed personal care aide.

She was preceded in death by her maternal  grandfather, Sale Johns; paternal grandfather, Brooks Looney; great-grandfather; Paul McFerren; uncle, James Swick and father-in-law John McTheny.

Besides her parents and step-father she is survived by her daughter, Brooke McTheny of Toronto, OH; son, Bret McTheny of Newport News, VA; maternal grandmother, Paula McFerren Johns of Toronto, OH; paternal grandmother, Leona Cottrell Looney of Mingo Jct., OH; brother, Zachary Robinson; step-brother, David (Brandi) Becker; step-sisters, April (Bill) Tennant and Lizzie Becker; aunts, Diana Swick and Sandra Looney; uncles, Brian Johns and David Johns; cousins, Paul Carnahan, Charlotte Thompson and Daniel Swick and their families.

Visitation hours for Alissa will be held from  1 P.M. to 4 P.M. Saturday, August 20th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration service of Alissa's life will be held 6 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home with the Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating.
