Andrew "Andy" Thomas Balogac age 73 of Toronto passed away Thursday June 5th at the Valley Hospice North Care Center, Steubenville.

He was born April 7, 1952 in Steubenville the son of the late Andrew J. Balogac in 1974 and Bethel (Smith) Balogac in 1996. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Karen Ghrist in 2009 and a brother, Michael A. Balogac in 2019.

Andy had attended the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Toronto; was a 1970 graduate of Toronto High School; loved hunting, fishing and boating.

He retired from the Wheeling – Pittsburgh Steel Company as a machine operator.

Andy is survived by his wife, Tamara Kim (Yost) Balogac whom he married October 6, 1976; son, Stephen Balogac; daughter Andrea (Matt Swartz) Snyder; granddaughter, Mia Kay Balogac; brothers, John (Marsha) Balogac and David (Terri) Balogac and sister, Phyllis (John) White. And grand dog Clyde.

Family and friends will gather for visitation Tuesday June 10th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. A funeral service will follow visitation at 8 pm with the Reverend Father Thomas Vennetti officiating.
