Ann Jane Dobson, age 93 of Toronto, OH passed away Monday, January 28, 2019.

She was born January 5, 1926 in Benwood,  W.V.

Jane was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Toronto, Oh, the Catholic Women's Club of the church, the Toronto Sunrise Senior Citizens and she was a 1944 graduate of Toronto High School.

She retired from the United States State Department in Washington, DC. After her retirement at the state department, she was employed by the Edison Local School District at the Knoxville Elementary School.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John and Matilda (Kozoidek) Kovarik; husband, Conrad H. Dobson in 1995 whom she married December 18, 1954 ; sisters, Anna Swearingen and Matilda Truini and brothers, Andrew and John Kovarik.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Stephen) Iden of Westminster, MD and Patricia (Thomas Maggio) Dobson of Highland Lakes, NJ ; grandsons, David and Jason Iden and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours for Jane will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Friday, February 1st at the Clarke Funeral Home,302 Main St., Toronto, OH. Additional visitation will be held from 9 – 10 AM Saturday, February 2nd at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1225 N. River Ave., Toronto, OH.

A Vigil Service for Jane will be held at 3:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 A.M. at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Celebrant Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Jane may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
