Anna Irene Blanch Downen, also known as Tootie and at other Times as Meem, age 77 of Toronto passed away Wednesday July 9th at the Weirton Medical Center.

She was born March 5, 1948 in Steubenville the daughter of the late James Benjamin McEwen in 2023 and Avanelle (Guess) McEwen in 2012. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rickie Alan Downen in 2022 whom she married September 10, 1966, son, James "Bo" Downen in 2017 and granddaughter Terra Joy McDonald in 2018.

Anna was a Jefferson Union High School graduate a homemaker and was very much loved by her daughter, grandsons, granddaughter, great grandchildren and all that knew her. Anna loved going to the rendezvous and Chris Stapelton concerts. She always said "Good Morning World".

Anna is survived by her daughter, Wendy Lynn McKee of Irondale; grandsons, Ted A.A. Davis and wife Michelle and Samuel D McEwen Abdalla both of Toronto; granddaughter, Melinna Star Monroe and husband Andy of Rutland, OH; great grandchildren, Lilly, Sophie and Hunter and son-in-law Ted Davis
