Anna was born February 21, 1903 in Czechoslovakia the daughter of the late John and Anna Demko Blaschak.
Anna is a member of the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church of Toronto.
She was retired as a co-owner of the former Karaffa Food Market in Toronto. Anna was co-owner for 47 years.
She was preceded in death by: Parents / Husband - John B. Karaffa who passed away in 1969 and whom she married August 5, 1922 / a daughter - Margaret Muczynski who passed away in 1989 / a son - John M. Karaffa who passed away April 26, 2001 / 4 Brothers - John, Steve, Mike, and George Blaschak / 4 sisters - Mary, Susan, Helen, and Veronica.
Anna''s survivors are: 1 Son: Joseph T. A Parastas Service will be held 7:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. A Prayer Service will be held 9:30 A.M. Friday at the funeral home followed by Solem Divine Liturgy 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church - North Fifth St. - Toronto with Father Andrew Chura officiating.
