Anna Marie McCarthy - Age 86 - of Fall River, Mass. A former long time resident of Toronto, passed away Friday - February 16th at the Catholic Memorial Home of Fall River, Mass.She was born March 16, 1920 in New Cumberland, W.Va. the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Majeska Cich.Anna is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto where she had been a member of the Catholic Women''s Club. She had been a member of the Toronto Senior Citizens and had been a R.S.V.P. volunteer for 20 years.Anna had worked for the former Hub Clothing Store of TorontoShe was preceded in death by her parents / Husband - Thomas Joseph McCarthy who passed away in 1981 and whom she married April 29, 1943 / 6 brothers - John, Morris, Stanley, Walter, Adam and Frank Cich / 4 sisters - Helen Bowen, Sophie Straka, Vera Murray and Mary Bilchak.Anna is survived by:Daughter: Ann Colette McCarthy and husband Daniel of Fall River, Mass.Son: Thomas William McCarthy and wife Linda of Havelock, North CarolinaSister: Martha Shimmel of Toronto3 Grandchildren: Thomas William McCarthy, Jr. and wife Melissa Shawn Patrick McCarthy and wife Nicole Christina Marie McCarthy all Havelock, N.C.5 great-grandchildrenFriends and family will gather for visitation from 2 to 6 P.M.
