Artis W. Monigold, age 79 of Toronto passed Sunday April 3, 2022.

He was born July 10, 1942 at home the son of Asa J. Monigold and Alice H. (Still) Monigold.

Artis loved collecting antiques, collectables and local history. He loved reading, fishing and his horses and hunting dogs.

He had been employed at the 80-inch department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.

Artis was a member of Bray's Chapel United Methodist Church; was a member of the Toronto Historical Society and the Ft. Steuben Stamp Club and was a 1960 graduate of Jefferson Union High School.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his loving wife Nancy (Morrow) Monigold whom he married March 3, 1963, one sister, Dorothy (Chuck) Pinkerton and three brothers, Asa, James, Leonard and Floyd.

Artis is survived by two daughters, Sharon Monigold of Columbus, OH and Joyce (Pat Pahl) Bartlett of Toronto; two sons, Timothy Monigold of Mingo Jct., OH and James Monigold of Coraopolis, PA; grandchildren, Josh and Amber Bartlett, Matthew and Jillian Monigold and Andrew and Justin Monigold and great-grandchildren, Colton, Aria and Pierce.

Visitation hours for Artis will be 11 AM to 3 PM Thursday, April 7th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

A celebration Service of Artis' life will be held at 3 PM Thursday at the funeral home with The Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
