Monigold, Jr., age 79 of Toronto (Costonia) Ohio passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home, Steubenville, OhioHe was born March 8, 1931 in Toronto the son of the late Asa J. Monigold, Sr. and Alice Helen Still Monigold.Asa is a Roman Catholic and had attended the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto.He is a 1950 graduate of the Jefferson Union (Edison Local) High School and was retired from the First Energy Corporation, Sammis Plant, Stratton, OhioAsa was a Seargent in the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War Era.He was preceded in death by: parents / brothers - Floyd and Leonard Monigold and a sister Dorothy Pinkerton.Asa is survived by:Daughter: Susan Heidemann and husband Hans of Punta Gorda, FloridaBrother: Artis Monigold and wife Nancy of Toronto (Costonia) OhioSeveral nieces and nephewsA graveside service for Asa will be held 11:00 A.M.
