Asa C. Monigold - Age 84 - of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away Monday April 14, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville.Asa was born November 8, 1918 in Costonia, the son of the late William and Celesta Andrews Monigold, Sr.He was retired from the Gilbert Iron & Metal Company.In addition to his parents, Asa is preceded in death by one daughter Gertrude Baker; his first wife, Martha Ewing, and second wife Margaret Monigold, and two nieces.His survivors are:2 Sons: Asa Monigold, Jr. of Toronto Donald Monigold and wife Debbie of Wintersville2 Daughters: Mrs Martha Monigold Mrs. Thelma Wells both of Steubenville1 Step-Daughter: Mrs. Barbara Goff and husband Roger of Scott Depot, WV.10 Grandchildren and 23 Great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildrenFriends and family will be received for visitation on Friday April 18, 2003 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto.A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday April 19, 2003 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Island Creek Cemetery.
