Obituary
Auberta Ruth Long, age 78 a homemaker of Toronto passed away Monday February 24, 2025
She was born November 16, 1946 in Steubenville the daughter of the late John Joseph Viller and Ruth (Peckens) Parker.
Auberta had been a member of the former Gospel Hall in Toronto. She loved music of all kinds and loved to follow Elvis impersonators. She had been employed as a waitress at the former famous Tangiers Restaurant in Akron, OH welcoming the famous clientele and she also served as a private nurse's aide locally.
Auberta is survived by her husband, James Wilmer Long; children, Tammy (Karl) Snyder, Gerald Long, Gayle Long and Laura Long; siblings, Cecile Lease, Michelle Miller and husband David and Todd Parker; several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.
Memorial contributions in memory of Auberta, if you so choose, may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Auberta's arrangements are private and are in the care of Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto
To honor her wishes, she will be cremated.
