Audry Fay Martin, age 86 of Wellsville, OH passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the East Liverpool City Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born February 28, 1938 in Draffin, KY the daughter of the late Ferman and Sarah Jane (Gibson) Bartley and she was also preceded in death by her Grandson, Shane Howell; her Sisters, Rosie Chapman and Lexie Wallace;  Brothers, Lester and Vernon Bartley.

In the 1950's Audry was employed at the Yorba Hotel in Detroit, MI as a waitress to put food on the table for her 4 children. In the '70's she worked part time at Sears in Steubenville, OH in the Drapery Department where she cleared a whopping $16 for a 10 hour work week! She also worked various other factory labor jobs, never afraid of hard work.

Audry was a great woman of faith having been a member of the Calcutta Church of the Nazarene and had served as treasurer for the Stratton and Irondale Church of the Nazarene.  She also Managed Saline Township food pantry and loved to do crossword puzzles, crochet and read Christian novels. However, her greatest past time was studying the word of God and loving on and cooking for her large family. Knowing she gave her heart to Jesus and we will see her again in heaven gives us such great peace.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Donald Martin whom she married July 15, 2005; her children, Debra (Jeep) Arcuragi of Toronto, OH , Patricia Keeton of Wellsville, OH, Darrell (JoAnn) Keeton of Wintersville, OH, Dana (Sue) Keeton of South Bend, IN; Step Children: Tim and Tommy (Becky) Martin Grandchildren: Tracy Avena, Bridget (Adam Newbold) Howell,  Amber (Daniel Decker), Britney (Nick Callahan), Alisha (Randy Ziadeh) and Brian  (Katie Keeton); Great Grandchildren: Asia Avena (Wes Keithley), Landon Newbold, Logan Howell, Nicholas and Caden Decker; Great Grand Children: Sadie and Gracie Callahan, Charlotte and Abbie Keeton; Great Great  Grandchildren; Zeppelin, Colton  and Ronnie Keithley.

Visitation for Audry will be held Tuesday April 9th from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, OH. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10th from 10am to 11 am.

A celebration service of Audry's life will be held Wednesday April 10th at 11 am with Pastor Ed Stine officiating. All welcome.  Interment will follow at the Hammondsville Cemetery.
