Barbara Jane Perks Ervin, age 83 of Toronto, OH passed away at her home Monday, January 22, 2018.

She was born September 22, 1934 in Cassidy, WV.

Barbara was a member and the adult Sunday school teacher at the Toronto First Church of the Nazarene and was retired as a nurse's aide at the Ohio Valley Hospital (Trinity Medical Center East) of Steubenville, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Dola Jane (Haney) Perks; husband, Bruce L. Ervin in 2004 whom she married April 11, 1958; sons, Thomas and Joseph Ervin; daughter, Rosa Ervin in 2010; brothers, Boyd, Darol, Grant Samuel, Darwood Seeman, Cecil, Jr. Eldon Eugene and Daniel Thomas Perks and sister, Nellie Luella Thompson.

Barbara is survived by her son, Robert C. Ervin of Toronto, OH; brothers, James (Dorothy) Perks of Georgia and William (Carole) Perks of Springfield, OH.; sisters, Doris Jean Nuzum of West Virginia and Patricia Ann (Richard) McCormick  of Michigan.

Barbara's arrangements are in the care of Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto and will be private at the convenience of her family.
