Barbara M. Miclea, age 88 of Weirton, WV, a former longtime Toronto, OH  resident, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Weirton Medical Center.

She was born July 24, 1927 in Wilkinsburg, PA the daughter of the late Gail and Daisy (Drodge) Richmond.

Barbara was a member of the Toronto First United Methodist Church; Daughters of the American Revolution and Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Missouri registered nurse's associations.

She was a graduate of the Presbyterian University Hospital School of Nursing and practiced as a registered nurse for several area hospitals and had attended the Brenda Casey School of Dance in Steubenville. She also loved to bowl and had belonged to a bowling league for several years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her brother Gail Richmond, Jr. and sisters Mildred Burcham and Shirley Keuper. Also preceded in death by her in laws Elizabeth (Dominic) DeLuce, Vickie (Herb) Benefield, Ann Drake and George (Thelma) Miclea.

She is survived by her husband John Miclea whom she married August 7, 1954; sons Phillip (Patti) Miclea of Gowen, MI, Alan (Venishia) Miclea of Austintown, OH and Jeff Miclea of Toronto, OH; grandchildren Richard Miclea of Toronto, OH, Monica (Tomasso) Valerio of Steubenville, OH and J.J. Miclea of Toronto, OH and her brother Bob (Connie) Richmond of East Liverpool, OH.

Visitation hours for Barbara will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday, June 1st at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto, OH

A celebration service of Barbara's life will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, June 2nd at the funeral home with the Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
