Bessie May Thompson, age 67, of Toronto, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 and her home.Born May 9, 1938 in Steubenville, she is a daughter of the late Pearl and Mary Mills Mercer. She is a member of the New Horizons Church in Wintersville, and was a retired Nursing Administrator from Lysock Nursing Home in Pennsylvania.She is preceded in death by her parents.Her survivors include three sons, Ronald Thompson and his wife Tina of Shippensville, Pa. Timothy Thompson and his wife Angie of Akron, Oh. And Mark Thompson of Weirton, W.Va. Two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Martinez and her husband Marco of Wintersville, Oh. And Mrs. Marlene Bower and her husband Tim of Unionport, Ohio. Seven Grandchildren, Timothy John Bower and Betheny Bower both of Toronto, Stacy Bish and husband Michael of Midway, Pa. Billy, Jordan of Midway, Pa. Douglass Thompson of Weirton, W.Va. and Marlana Martinez and Mary Martinez, both of Wintersville. Three Great - Grandchildren, Kayla Bower of Mingo Jct. Oh. And Dalton and Jaida Bish of Midway, Pa. One brother John Shaffer and his wife Arlene of Steubenville, and Mrs. Pearl Kathy Mills and her husband Carl of Steubenville, and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service for Bessie will be held 11:00 A.M.
