Betty Jane Groves Cooper, age 88 of Columbus, OH, former Toronto area resident passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in Columbus, OH

She was born December 29, 1934 in Fairmont, WV the daughter of the late Harvey Lee Hall and Virginia Pearl (Fetty) Hall.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Dean Groves; brothers, Ronald Hall and Rick Forester; sisters, Carol Erosovich and Virginia Straus and a grandson, Kenny Waggoner.

Jane was a member of the Hill Top Presbyterian Church and is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Tim) Finney, Christine Waggoner and Patti Groves; grandchildren, Clinton Finney, Leah Curtis, Amber Waggoner, Elizabeth Waggoner and Jamie Groves; great grandchildren, Ethan, Levi, Henry, Ben and Kaleb, sisters, Connie McGee and Debbie (Delphi) Sias.

Visitation hours for Jane will be held from 11am to 1pm Friday, May 12th  at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH 43964. 740-537-1234.

A celebration service of Jane's life will be held at 1pm Friday at the funeral home with the Reverend Jane Schockey officiating. Interment will follow at the New Somerset Christian Church Cemetery, New Somerset, OH.
