Obituary

Betty L. Heaton Wells passed away Monday, May 09, 2016 at the Lancia Villa  Royale Nursing Home,  Steubenville, OH.

She was born March 1, 1923 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Virginia I. (Werntz) Horn.

Betty was a member of the River Avenue Christian Church of Toronto, OH and had attended the First United Methodist Church of Toronto, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband William R. Heaton in 1981 and her second husband Clarence V. Wells in 2009; son John W. Heaton in 2001; sister Doris Donofrio; brothers Carl Dale, Walter Eugene, Richard, Thomas and Maurice Horne.

Betty is survived by her brother Raymond L. (Karen) Horne of Toronto, OH; sister-in-law Flora Horne of Dayton, NV; step-son Harry (Pauline) Wells of Hopedale, OH and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours for Betty will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 13th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 5 p.m. Friday with the Reverend Kevin Rinkes officiating.

In accordance with Betty's wishes, she will be cremated.
