It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Betty G. Miller. She was the loving mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her kindness knew no bounds. And her love touched everyone that had the privilege of knowing her. Though we ache with the weight of this loss, we are forever grateful for the time we shared and forever will be in our hearts.

Betty G. McCarthy Miller, age 104 passed away Tuesday August 26, 2025 at the home of her son, Mark.

She was born August 6, 1921 in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Thomas J. McCarthy and Maud L. (Mushrush) McCarthy. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband Ralph B. "Abie" Miller in 1978; sons, David and Ralph Miller; brothers, Paul and Thomas McCarthy and sister Catherine McCarthy.

She is survived by her son Mark (Amanda) Miller, grandchildren, Hailey Miller, Ryan (Jennifer) Miller and Jeremy (Jennifer) Miller and great-grandson, Benton Cash Miller; nephews, Lee McCarhty and Thomas McCarthy, Jr. and niece Diana McCarthy.

Betty is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church; was a 1936 graduate of Toronto High School; Betty is a member and Past President of the following organizations, LAOH of Jefferson County; the Toronto American Legion Post 86 Auxiliary; the Toronto Sunrise Citizens; and the Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1276 Auxiliary.

Visitation hours for Betty will be held Friday August 29th from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home. A Vigil Service will be held at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.

Toronto American Legion Post 86 Auxiliary service 6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 1276 Auxiliary service 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Additional visitation will be held at the rear of St. Francis August 30th from 9 to 10 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 AM with celebrant Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Interment will follow at the Toronto Cemetery.
