Bobby Ray "Bob" McCourt passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.

He was born April 9, 1945 in Irondale, OH.

Bob was a member of the New Somerset United Methodist Church and was a 30 plus year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 2185 of Carrollton, OH.

He loved to restore old cars, farm and go boating and had been employed by the former Sun Coal Company of Bergholz, OH.

Bob was preceded by his parents, Phillip John McCourt and Lela Ann (Mossor) McCourt; brothers, James, Archie, Tom, Ronald and Larry McCourt; sisters, Emaline McCourt, Nancy Lai, Kathleen Sousa and Donna Vincenzo.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Connie Joan (Andrews) McCourt whom he married August 22, 1964; son, Doug R. McCourt of Irondale, OH; daughters, Tammy (Patrick) Paul of Hammondsville, OH and Kelly A. McCourt of Hammondsville, OH; grandchildren, Katelynn, Erin and Ryan Paul, James and Dakota McCourt; brother, David (Patty) McCourt of Wellsville, OH; several nieces and nephews and a special nephew Robbie McCourt of Bergholz, OH.

Visitation hours for Bob will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Thursday, April 6th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto followed by a celebration service of Bob's life at 8 P.M. Thursday with Pastor Frank Rogers officiating.

Bob's interment will take place 11 A.M. Friday, April 7th at the Hammondsville Cemetery. After the interment, family and friends are invited to the New Somerset United Methodist Church for a luncheon.

Those wishing to go to Bob's interment Friday can meet at the funeral home at 10 A.M. to go in procession to the cemetery.
