Boyd H. Skidmore jr., age 66 of Mingo Jct., passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at his home.Born May 12, 1940 in Island Creek Township near Toronto, he is a son of the late Boyd H. and Ida Mae Wells Skidmore Sr. Boyd is a retire Landscaping Foreman and attended the Plum Run Church of Christ.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Earl Skidmore and an infant sister Darlene Skidmore.Boyd''s survivors include his wife, Mrs. Linda J. Landis Skidmore of the home; two sons, William B. Skidmore of Englewood, Fla. and Wesley D. Skidmore of Benzonia, Michigan; a daughter Mrs. Laura A. Bennett of Englewood, Florida; two brothers, Edgar Skidmore and his wife Sandy of Apple Valley, California, and Wilbert Skidmore and his wife Delores of Maysville, Oklahoma, and Four Grandchildren.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, December 30, 2006 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto. 740-537-1234/800-588-1446Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
