PORTER, Catherine (Sciance) 87, formerly of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away on December 1, 2012 in Gilbert, Arizona where she resided for the past thirty five years. She was born June 4, 1925 in Toronto, Ohio, a daughter of the late Chester and Susan (McFarland) Sciance. She was preceded in death by a brother Bill in 2010.

She is survived by her husband of sixty five years, Raymond, and sons, Tom (Anna) of Wintersville and Terry (Ruth) of Gilbert, Arizona. She is also survived by sisters Nina Sapp and Mary Sciance and brother Ron Sciance all of Toronto, and six grandchildren Marianne (Steve),Lauren (Mel), Rebecca, Andrew (Jenn), Bethany (Gabe), and Michael.

Local arrangements are at the Clarke Funeral Home in Toronto with burial at the Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville. According to Catherine''s wishes services and burial will be private.
