Charles E. A"ChuckA" Craig - Age 92 - of Toronto passed away Thursday - June 15th at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit - Trinity Medical Center - East, Steubenville. He was born October 12, 1913 in Toronto the son of the late Clarence A"MiltA" and Catherine Delaney Craig.He is a member of the North River Ave. Christian Church of Toronto where he served as a Deacon - Choir Member for 76 years - served on many dinner committees of the church and had served as church organist for several years.Charles is a 50 year member of the Toronto Lodge #583 F. & A.M. where he had served as lodge organist for many years. He is a member of the Valley of Steubenville Scottish Rite 32nd degree Masons and had served as organist for 30 years and choir member for the Scottish Rite. He is also a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club.He is a charter member of the Toronto Community Band.Charles had served as organist for the Harmony United Methodist Church of Mingo Jct., Ohio and the former Calvary United Methodist Church (now Calvary/Fifth United Methodist Church of Steubenville.He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and is retired from the Weirton Steel Co. as a machinist. Charles was preceded in death by: Parents / Brother - Harold Craig / Grandson - David CooperHis survivors are:Wife: Dorothy M. Goddard Craig of the home whom he married October 19, 1939 (66 years)2 Daughters: Linda Cooper and husband Leo of Toronto Barbara Ely and husband Edward of Weirton, W.Va.2 Granddaughters: Susan Dunlap of Kirkland, Ohio Melissa Jenkins and husband Clifford of Weirton, W.Va.Grandson: Edward Scott Ely and wife Angela of Weirton, W.Va.Great-grandchildren: Chelsea, Derek, Kyle, Madison and ZacharyFriends and family will gather for visitation 12 - 3 P.M. and again from 6 - 8 P.M. Sunday June 18th at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. - Toronto. 740-537-1234 or 800-588-1446 and Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the North River Ave. Christian Church - Toronto.The Toronto Masonic Lodge will hold services at the funeral home 7:30 P.M. SundayA funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday - June 19th at the North River Ave. Christian Church - Toronto with Pastor Robert Hanze officiating. Burial will follow at the Ft.
