Charles Eugene "Charlie" Brown, age 71 of Irondale, OH passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

He was born February 16, 1944 in Steubenville, OH the son of the late Albert Eugene and Easter Enna Rood Brown.

Charlie served his country in Korea in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era and was retired from the Anthony Mining Co. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary Alice Brown in 2004 whom he married October 12, 1968. Charlie is survived by his sons, James Matthew (Ethel "Midge") Brown, Sr. of Irondale, OH and Steven Douglas Brown of Wintersville, OH; daughter, Misty Dawn Brown; grandchildren, Matthew Swartz, James Matthew Brown, Jr., Andrea Nicole Brown, Jasmine Lee Brown and Gabrial Valentine; great grandchildren, Xander, Noah, Evan and R.J.; brother, Albert Edward Brown of Steubenville, OH. Charlie's arrangements are in the care of Clarke Funeral Home and all arrangements will be at the convenience of the family. A memorial service for Charlie will be announced at a later date.
