Charles R. "Chuck" Mellott, age 62 of Toronto, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010 surrounded by his family.Born June 1, 1948 in Steubenville, Ohio he is a son of the late Charles R. Mellott Sr. and Gladys Mae Walker Wellington. He is a 1967 graduate of the former Jefferson Union (Edison Local) High School. Chuck was a Christian by faith, and is retired from Wickham Trucking where he worked as a truck driver. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. Chuck loved his family, and enjoyed hanging out with his friends, riding his motorcycle, and playing with his five Bengal cats. Chuck also had a deep passion for music and history.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleo and Ruby Mellott.Chuck is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary (Polen) Mellott who he married April 25, 1972; his Daughter, Mrs. Janis J. Mellott-Menkemeller and her husband Samuel of Nashville, Tennessee; a brother Jeffrey Douglas Mellott and his wife Lorena of Pensacola, Florida, and a niece Miss Janie Lynn Mellott also of Pensacola.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home a
