Charlotte Virginia Flanagan, age 79 of Toronto, OH passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA

She was born August 3, 1935 in Stratton, OH the daughter of the late Ross G. and Grace Elizabeth (Wilson) Flanagan.

Charlotte was a long time member of the Stratton Church of the Nazarene where she played the piano and organ and served on church boards; was a 1953 graduate of Toronto High School and had retired from Stacey''s Grocery Store in Toronto after 40 years of employment.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Phyllis Barker Flanagan in 1995 and brother-n-law Charles Breen in 1982, Charlotte is survived by her brother, Ross L. "Buddy" Flanagan of Toronto, OH; sister, Doris Breen of Toronto, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her family Charlotte was an honorary Aunt and loved by many people who called her Aunt Charlotte. Visitation hours for Charlotte will be held 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Saturday, September 20th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH. A celebration service of Charlotte''s life will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, September 21st at the funeral home with the Reverend Steve Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Union Cemetery, County Road 68 near Empire, OH. Family and friends are invited to a funeral luncheon following Charlotte''s service at the Stratton Municipal Building, Route 7, Stratton, OH.
