Cheryl L. Alvis Toney, age 55, of Wintersville, Ohio, formerly of Toronto, Ohio passed away peacefully into the arms of her heavenly father with her family by her side after a lengthy illness Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Acuity Specialty Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio.
She was born November 25, 1956 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Carl Alvis and Phyllis (White) Alvis who survives.
Cheryl is a member of the Schaffer Chapel A.M.E. Church, McIntire, Ohio where she had served as a Stewardess and she was retired from the Steubenville Head Start as a Teacher''s Aide.
She was preceded in death by her father, son Michael R. Alvis in 2008 and a sister a
