Chuck Deitch, age 70 of Steubenville passed away at his home Monday, September 27, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 20, 1951 in Martins Ferry, OH the son of the late Charles and Shirley (Albright) Deitch.

Chuck was a member of the Wintersville Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and trustee and was retired from the Weirton Steel Company as a rigger and was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Deitch; brother-in-law, David Bickerstaff and his in laws Albert and Isabel Bickerstaff who treated him like a son.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 51 years Betty A. (Bickerstaff) Deitch  whom he married October 24, 1970; sons, Chuck (Korin) Deitch of Oldsmar, FL and Rick (Jenny) Deitch of Brilliant; daughter, Holly Deitch of Steubenville; grandkids, Colden and Isabel Deitch; sisters, Bonnie (Ed) Brewer and Nola Deitch; brothers, Mike and Robert Deitch; brother-in-law, Scott (Dorrienne) Lewis; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Bickerstaff and Vicki Bickerstaff and his faithful protector, Cash.

Visitation hours for Chuck will be held 4-6 Thursday, September 30th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

A celebration service of Chuck's life will be held at 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Chuck Brettell officiating.
