Clarence V. Wells - age 87 - of Toronto passed away Saturday - August 29, 2009 at the Country Club Manor - Steubenville, Ohio.He was born in New Cumberland, W.Va. December 18, 1921 the son of the late Harry and Rose Hawk Wells.Clarence is a member of the Freeport Presbyterian Church of Freeport, OhioHe was an avid fisherman.Clarence was a U.S. Army W.W.II veteran having served in the European Theatre of Operations.He is retired from the Ohio Edison Co. - Stratton, Ohio Sammis Plant where he was a supervisor.Clarence was preceded in death by: Parents and his first wife - Josephine Balogac Wells in 1982.His survivors are:Wife: Betty Horne Heaton Wells of the family home whom he married October 7, 1982 Son: Harry A.
