Curtis Criss "Junior" Weese, Jr., age 80 of Toronto (Mount Tabor) passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 11, 1939 in Gassaway, WV the son of the late Curtis Criss Weese, Sr. and Carrie (Muncie) Weese.

Curtis loved to work with wood and loved to be with his grandchildren. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard and was retired from the S & D Construction Co. of Knoxville, OH.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Randall, Carl and Jerry Weese and his sisters, Georgie and Ann Weese, Vertie Gae Towbridge and Vergie Lea Salisbury.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Inez Wilma (Fiala) Weese whom he married October 11, 1963; daughter, Cynthia (Martin Mason) Tharp of Richmond, OH; son, Christopher (Tina) Weese of Toronto (Mount Tabor); eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Brenda) Weese of Enterprise, AL and Jackie Weese of Brandywine, WV; sisters, Verna Mae (Richard) Haynes of Lewiston, ID and Becky (Stanley) Tanner of Flatwoods, WV.

Visitation hours for Curtis will be held from 10 am to 12 noon Wednesday, November 27th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.

A celebration service of Curtis' life will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor William Westling officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
