Obituary

Daniel Delano Moore, age 86 of York, SC passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at his home.

He was born November 15, 1933 the son of the late Lindsey John Moore and Janet (Sullivan) Moore.

Dan was a member of the Bullock Creek Cowboy Church of York, SC; was a truck driver and served his country in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his Brother's Floyd, Fred, John, Lemone and Victor Moore, sisters Betty Waite and Lo Lu Marshall.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Smith) Moore whom he married August 23, 2008; daughters, Wilma (Scott Kent) Moore and Janet Moore all of Steubenville and Denise (Richard) Englund of Bloomingdale; three grandsons; one great-granddaughter; several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation hours for Dan will be held 4-8 PM Friday, October 16th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto.

A celebration service of Dan's life will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 17th at the funeral home with Pat Moore's grandson, Kevin Lee Daugherty officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery with full military graveside honors by the Toronto American Legion Post #86.
