Darrin Robert "Rob" Roy, age 52 of Amsterdam, OH passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Valley Hospice North Care Center, Steubenville.

He was born July 26,1968 in Jacksonville, FL.

Darrin was a 1986 graduate of Stanton Local High School, a 1997 graduate of Bowling Green University, served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a self-employed contract computer programmer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudette (Stramel) Roy and is survived by his father, Donald H. Roy of Amsterdam, OH; brother, Donald (Sarah) Roy, Jr. of Galena, OH; half-brothers, Bart L. Roy of Bedford, VA, Bret L. (Robin) Roy of Jacksonville, NC, Rick A. (Lori) Roy of Bloomingdale, OH and Jason Westbrook; step-brother, William J. Foley of Charleston; step-sisters, Jillian Welker of Sarasota, FL, Jackie Karas of Mingo Jct., OH and Jennifer McCord of Canfield, OH.

Darrin's arrangements are in the care of the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto and will be private at the convenience of his family.
