David E. Keras, age 59 of Steubenville, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at his home.Born February 29, 1952 in Steubenville, David is a son of the late Anthony James and Nellie Steponiatis Keras. David is a graduate of the former J.U. (Jefferson Union) High School. He served his country in Vietnam as a member of the United States Army and is retired after 31 years of service with the former Weirton Steel Corporation where he was a Laborer and Millwright. David was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved bowling.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Charles Keras and Anthony Keras Jr.; two infant children Dawn Delores Keras and Edward John Keras. And a daughter-in-law Melissa Hartline.David''s survivors include his wife; Mrs. Christine L. (Scott) Keras of the family home in Steubenville; two sons, Michael Keras of Steubenville and Scott Anthony Keras of Wintersville; a daughter Mrs. Robin Ketchum Jr. and her husband Robert of Salineville, Ohio; grandchildren David Michael Keras, Katelyn Keras, Kristen Locke, Madison and Logan Ketchum, and Justice Hall; a sister Mrs. Rose Adams of Baltimore, Maryland; a niece and nephew Amber and Charo Keras, and a sisters in law Mrs. Sandra Keras and Mrs. Diane Keras.Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home - 302 Main St. Toronto, Ohio 43964. 740-537-1234/ 800-588-1446A celebration service of David''s life will be held Tuesday evening at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Preacher Jim Taz Montgomery as the officiant.
