David L. Lutz, age 68 of Hopedale, formerly of Toronto passed away on Saturday September 6, 2003 at Harrison Community Hospital-Cadiz.Born August 27, 1935 in Beaver Falls, PA. He is a son of the late Ira L. and Lillian Daman Lutz. He was a retired grocery store manager, and a veteran of the United States Army. David is a Member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Steubenville.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Sue Lutz whom he married September 19, 1969 and who passed away April 8, 2002. Uncles Elmer, Herb, Melvin and Roy Daman, and an uncle Howard Thompson. Aunts Gladys Thellman and husband Mike and Dorothy Reed and her husband Clarence. He is also preceded by his grandparents Ira and Hanna Daman.David''s survivors include, son Herman A Larkins and his wife Mary Ann of Kernersville, N.C., an Aunt Dolly Mae Hecker and her husband Paul of Darlington, PA., an Uncle Ira Daman and his wife Debbie of Fla., Nephew Paul David Hecker of Minnesota, Nieces Sherry Reed of Youngstown and Donna Currao and her husband Andy of Seymor, Ind. Three Grandsons, Todd Larkins and his wife Amy of Charlotte, N.C., David Larkins and his wife B.J. of Kernersville, N.C. and Rusty A. Larkins of Stokesdale, N.C. Great-Grandchildren Ashley, Erica, and Eli Larkins, Great-Nieces Hanna, Emily, and Abigail Currao, sister-in-law Etta Thompson of Virginia, and companion Julie Wolfe of Hopedale.In keeping with David''s wishes, private family services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.Clarke Funeral Home 302 Main St. in Toronto (740-537-1234/ 800-588-1446) is handling the arrangements.
