Deborah L. Koontz, age 55 of Toronto, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 29, 1958 in Charleston, West Virginia, she is the daughter of the late Jacqueline (Young) Early. Deborah worked as a Nurse''s Aide and Private Caregiver; she had a deep love for all animals, especially her pet dogs.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Bostic, and her step-father Harold Owens.
Deborah''s survivors include her husband, Phillip Timothy Koontz of the family home in Toronto whom she married September 13, 1997; her father Eugene "Skip" Early of Toronto; two sons, Arthur L. "J.R." Fowler Jr. and his wife Becki of Irondale, Oh, Phillip Tyler-Vai Koontz of Tiltonsville, Oh,; A grandson Noah; brother Ray Thomas Owens and his companion Leslie Norris of Toronto, Oh; two nieces, Samantha Owens of Toronto, Oh, Mrs. Crissy Rowley and her husband Beau of Thompson Station, Tennessee; a nephew Bradley Bostic; mother and father in law Phillip and Joan Koontz; sister in law Ms. Patty Blankenship; brother and sister in law Joe and Vickie Koontz; and great nieces and nephews Jaime, Maddison and Tommy Rowley.
Family and friends will gather for memorial visitation on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the celebration of life service at 8:00 P.M. at the Clarke Funeral Home a
